I forgot to tell you

Forgetting is often an issue, and I believe there´s no such thing as a good or bad memory.

According to scientific research, forgetting is a necessary brain function: we are not able to retain all the information to which we are exposed and our brain selects the one we need the most. But our memories are also selective, and we find that, at the end of the day, we live between our own memories that we want to keep alive, and those that we need to forget.

I forgot to tell you (2006-2008) wants to show, through portraits from family members and friends, that daily struggle between forgetting and remembering, perhaps as a survival instinct to continue in our daily routines.
